Being both bird and animal lovers, as well as being environmentalists, Dee and Bunny are committed to keeping toxic rubbish out of our South African landfills. to this end they have developed a new product for the bird lovers amongst us, A BIRD SEED BELL. This product is made from locally sourced seeds, and MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, THEY DO NOT CONTAIN GLUE AS A BINDING AGENT. We use all natural products to bind our seeds. ALL the packaging is compostable and bio degradable. Even the ink used to print the labels is vegetable based,therefore non toxic - and we use re-cycled paper for our labels. A FIRST IN SOUTH AFRICA, we are sure. We are extremely proud of this new product and we know that they attract birds to our gardens, wherever you live. Available directly from us, order 12, get a bakers dozen, or from most farm stalls along the Eastern Cape Route 62, and at Birds of Eden at Monkeyland, outside Plettenberg Bay.
As part of our commitment to the environment, we plant fruit trees to offset any carbon emissions involved in the delivery and manufacture of the seed bells.

good day elaine, i must apologise for only responding now and i am rather embarassed that its so late. i dont know why i never saw your comments previously – please accept my apologies. you must think i am rude … our seed bells are R25.00 each for the 400g/500g size, which seems to be the one that is most popular. depending on where customers are, we post orders all over south africa and if you are near port elizabeth then we deliver.

good evening mike, how embarassing that i am only replying now, but i do need to explain – a bit. its the wordpress thingie that has confused me and i didn’t know how to access the messages, so apparently i have been in barbie mode for the last month. please accept my apologies, i am quite organised – really.

I just built a house in Mozambique and there are so many different kinds of birds there that I want to attract to my garden. Also here in PE. I want to order 20 of the large ones please. our seed bells are R25.00 excluding postage. if you order 12 seed bells, we give you a bakers dozen and pay for the postage for the first order. if you only want a couple, thats also ok – we will still post whatever customers want, and postage is cheap. i hope you are still interested.kind regards, dee
